We can hardly believe that all of our prayers, waiting and anticipation are over! Whilst the prayers continue... the waiting is over. It's great to be in Cape Town and we have such a peace and sense that this is exactly where we need to be. GOD has blessed us with an awesome home here and we're looking forward to the doors that we will be walking through!
Our new house is a three-bedroom duplex in the High Grove security complex, just opposite the Blue Route mall in Tokai. We are close to EVERYTHING! I had to buy some electricity, so I literally took the dogs for a walk across the road to the Pick n Pay convenience store that is diagonally opposite us.
El popped into her folks place for the morning to do washing and give the kids a change in scenery. We've had Mike around for dinner the past two evenings, have the Brandt's coming tomorrow evening, Horners and Saturday and McArthurs on Sunday. I don't know how we ever coped without having family around! It's awesome!
We are hoping that all our stuff will be arriving on Saturday, but it may even only be Sunday. For now we're using loaned bedding and crockery and have some camping chairs setup, which has more than met our needs. The dogs and cat have all settled in nicely, Roo went for her first official outdoor explore this afternoon and stayed close, so she seems to be okay now.
I have some work meeting lined up next week for some Cape Town clients. Hoping to grow our client base to start growing the business, it has felt like JHB had become a bit of a waiting room on all fronts. We are ready to minister and work hard!
